PSTN Switch-Off – The Need to Act Now

As widely communicated, Openreach are gradually withdrawing all support for old public switched telephone network – PSTN. This will have a wider impact across many legacy alarm monitoring systems which are reliant upon PSTN lines to send signals to their respective Alarm Receiving Centers. The project is well underway and the impact is already being seen at premises across the UK, leaving customers at risk and without any Intruder, Fire or CCTV monitoring that use ISDN services.

If you are an installer whose customer base is still largely using these legacy systems, it is time to switch them over to ALL IP products. With new stop sell dates being announced in most quarters, please act now and contact our AIM Account Managers on 0344 8001643Option 4 or email us at, to learn more about the different options available.

Find out more about the shutdown of PSTN’s and the features of the new ALL IP Campaign, by clicking on the links from our two major signalling providers – BT Redcare and CSL Dualcom
