Technology
At aim we believe in investing in technology to make our business work in a more efficient manner, which in turn improves the service you and your customers receive from us. We have a policy of refreshing all IT hardware every 4 years and employ a New Technology Manager who evaluates potential solutions to ensure they meet our strict standards before being brought into our business.
Some key areas of technology that we use within our business are as follows:
MASterMind alarm monitoring platform
The alarm monitoring platform used by aim is considered to be the best in its class – MASterMind. Not only does the software handle alarm signals with precision, it also provides extensive reporting and remote access via MASweb.
MASweb is a vital tool utilised by many of aims customers who want a window into the ARC so they can view their end users alarm signals in real time, run reports and manage changes to records.
aim provides in person and online training for MASweb, carried out by our field based technical team.
Immix CCTV monitoring platform
This is the monitoring platform for our CCTV operation. The benefit of Immix is that alarm systems from different CCTV systems are presented to our operators in one common format. This is as opposed to having one queue for each system, which would in practice be much more time consuming.
Cybertech call recording software
All incoming and outgoing calls into our ARC’s and main administration office are recorded using Cybertech. This means that should you need a conversation retrieving, we can find it and email it to you quickly. We also use this software for training purposes.
IT hardware
Our supplier for PC’s, laptops and servers is Dell and we have a policy of not using any piece of IT hardware over 3-years old to ensure our systems and staff are working on efficient IT systems.
Avaya telephony system
Throughout our operation we use a cutting edge Avaya telephony solution, which is fully resilient and is also linked to Cybertech. This system allows calls to be routed to designated groups of operators based on skill levels, ensuring your calls are handled in the most professional manner possible.
