Overview
Reliability and Resilience are the key words when it comes to designing an alarm handling network, even the best computers in the world are no use when the people who use them are prevented from doing just that.
Whilst all Alarm Recieving Centres are designed to be able to handle the unexpected such as fire or power failures, the aim ARC's go the extra mile (actually it's the extra 3 miles) because that is how far apart our 2 centres are located.
All our systems are replicated in real time to both our permanently manned centres, so if something goes wrong all we need to do is evacuate one centre and continue working from the second location. This means that at no time will the aim ARC's be out of service, in fact our service to our customers will continue as if nothing has happened.
