Overview

The Chiron IRIS system from aim allows alarm installers to offer a wider range of services than previously available. IP networks are cost effective and with the IRIS Systems new opportunities are available such as:

• Low cost constant polling of remote sites
• Quicker transmission of alarm signals to ARC
• Lower costs for all alarm transmissions whether emergency alerts or simple open and closing signals
• Continuous monitoring of main and backup communications routes Alternate routing across traditional paths as well as GPRS
