BT Redcare Secure
Overview
BT Redcare Secure products give the customer a choice of three options, Secure 2, Secure 3 and Secure IP, depending on the business risk and the technology the customer uses, customers are not tied to a particular option, should their risk or technology requirements change the Secure product allows them to move between options as they need.
This suite of security solutions meets the highest industry security standards (Association of Chief Police Officers [ACPO], British Standards [BS] and European[EN] ) and like all of Redcare’s products is fully compliant with BT’s new 21CN network. For maximum security, even if the customer’s phone line has been cut, BT Redcare’s intelligent technology dual signalling approach means a “confirmed activation” is still sent to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
In addition both paths go through a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) and the digital communicator supports a variety of intruder-system interfaces, including dial capture and classic pin connection. The signalling service to the aim ARC runs over BT’s resilient Internet Protocol (IP) network.
