Alarm Receiving Centres
Our NSI Gold Certified Alarm Receiving Centres at Salford and Manchester are considered to be the best in the industry and have undergone a major refurbishment programme. The centres are open to you and your customers should you wish to visit.
The 2 ARC’s which are connected by diversely routed megastream links meaning alarm signals come into a centre and are presented to the next available operator, irrespective of location. This improves our alarm handling times, which in turn improves the service your customers receive.
The ARC’s are located only 4-miles apart and as such are on two different telephone exchanges. If there is a problem with one telephone exchange, we automatically utilise the other, meaning no downtime. We also split our servers across each site, which continually update in real time, meaning if there is a problem at either site, all calls can be routed to the other site and no data is lost. In effect, we are running dual centres, utilising one workforce to provide a 24-hour monitoring service to give you and your customers’ total peace of mind.
